Work When Free carries a small number of ad slots alongside the job listings. Those slots are what keep the platform free for everyone who posts or looks for work.
Where your ad appears
- Desktop: fixed panels on the left and right of the listings, which flip between advertisers.
- Mobile portrait: a slim moving strip above and below the listings.
- Mobile landscape: vertical strips on either side of the listings.
What an ad consists of
- Your logo.
- A short brand or product name.
- A one-line description, up to 30 characters.
- The link to your homepage.
How it works
- Slots rotate, so every advertiser in the set gets time on screen rather than one ad holding a position.
- The ads are served from our own server. There is no third-party ad network and no behavioural tracking of our visitors.
- A click opens your site in a new tab, and the link carries a campaign tag so you can see the traffic in your own analytics.
- Creative can be swapped without downtime, so a campaign can be refreshed quickly.
What we accept
- Products and services that are lawful and relevant to a general audience.
- A working homepage that clearly matches what the ad says.
What we do not accept
- Anything that charges people a fee to get a job, or that presents itself as guaranteed income.
- Adult content, gambling, unlicensed financial or medical claims, and anything misleading.
- Ads designed to look like a job listing or like part of the site itself.
Traffic and pricing
This is a new and growing platform, so we do not publish inflated audience figures. Write to us and we will share the current traffic honestly, along with slot availability and rates, so you can judge whether it is worth it.
