Is Work When Free free to use?

Yes. Browsing listings, posting a job, and contacting a poster are all free. We do not charge workers to view listings or to obtain jobs, and there is no recruitment fee or placement fee.

Do you find jobs for me or place me with an employer?

No. We are not an employer, recruiter, or staffing agency. We show listings posted by other users. You choose which ones to consider and you contact the poster yourself.

Do you guarantee that I will earn money?

No. We do not guarantee income, hours, or that any listing will lead to work. The amount shown on a listing is what the poster entered, not a promise from us.

Who posts the jobs?

Other users of the site, usually people who need short-term help nearby. We do not verify identities, phone numbers, or jobs, so read each listing carefully and check the safety tips.

Why do I need to log in to see a phone number?

Contact details belong to the person who posted the job. Requiring a login keeps those numbers away from bulk collection and misuse, and it means you can read the task first and decide whether to get in touch at all.

Do I need an account just to look at jobs?

No. Anyone can browse and search listings. You only need to log in to view contact details or to post a job.

How do I search for work near me?

On the home page, select your location on the map, choose a radius, and search. You can also filter by keyword.

How long does a listing stay visible?

Until the expiry date the poster set. Expired listings remain visible but are greyed out and can no longer be contacted. Posters can also expire a job early from Jobs Posted by Me once the task is filled.

Someone asked me for money. What should I do?

Do not pay. No fee is ever required to get a job through this platform. Use the Report button on the listing and email support@workwhenfree.com
